CARA CURRIE-HALL

VICE PRESIDENT

Cara has spent nearly 30 years as an international advocate of Indigenous Peoples and Women. This time has been spent advocating for the recognition and protection of Indigenous Peoples Rights, for Recognition and Inclusion of Indigenous Peoples and Women in Sports and Games worldwide, and hosting and attending international conferences.

As a young girl, she attended a Tent Revival meeting on her reservation and asked Jesus to come into her heart.  At twenty years old, Cara rededicated her life back to HIM, and never looked back. Traveling to over 30 countries and engaging at the highest levels of governments as an advocate and strategist, she has seen God’s power and favor in the marketplace.  But she knew, “there is more” and in 2015 God spoke a word of knowledge saying, “ask Me Big”.  Drawing from this global perspective, together with her husband and daughter, they sought God and He gave them Kingdom Business Conference for Pastors and Leadership.

PATTI CURRIE-BEEBE

They are excited about the upcoming Kingdom Business II conference which will be held April 14, 15 & 16, 2019 in Bismarck, North Dakota at the Bismarck Event Center.

Today, she remains in a leadership role with the Kingdom Business Fellowship and as Co-Coordinator of the Kingdom Business Conference.

Cara is of the Cree Indigenous Peoples, married to Ken Hall, and with their daughter Faith, reside in Bismarck, N.D., USA

Patti Currie is honored to serve as the Treasurer for Kingdom Business. She is of the Plains Cree Peoples as Maskwacis, Treaty 6, in Alberta, Canada.

Patti is currently the Executive Director of Six Independent First Nations, a Federally Funded Program for Employment and Training Initiatives. She has also served on various boards and in many volunteer capacities for worthy initiatives which include coaching many sports. She has a bachelor's degree in Indigenous Studies and Political Science with a Minor in Business, From the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada.

At the age of 13, Patti invited Jesus into her heart, but only began to truly serve the Lord 6 years ago. She believes that her young age at the time contributed to her not really knowing Who Jesus is. She did not understand how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and did not know how much He liked her let alone how much He loved her.

Darryl Tonemah (Kiowa/Comanche/Tuscarora) has a Ph.D., in Counseling Psychology and Cultural Studies, a Masters Degree in Community Counseling and three Bachelors of Science Degrees.  He has sat on numerous state and national boards addressing disparities in education and health care among the Native community including: The Oklahoma Cancer Network, The Cherokee Cancer Coalition, Establishing the Oklahoma Intertribal Diabetes Coalition, Establishing the Oklahoma Intertribal Cancer Coalition, The United National Intertribal Youth Diabetes Initiative, he also sits on the ADA Board of Directors, as well as Research Policy Committee, and the Native American Initiatives Committee.

He has done extensive work training Native communities in the U.S. and Canada on Trauma and its relationship to behavior and change. He has trained at hospitals, universities, colleges, high schools, elementary school, communities, and grassroots organizations. He is the owner of the Tonemah Consulting Group, an organization dedicated to increasing wellness in Native communities.

Darryl Tonemah

BOARD MEMBER

He has expanded his work to behavioral telehealth to extend services to communities that may not have access to care.

He has also appeared in Three movies including the “The Cherokee Word for Water”, has appeared on the ABC Television Series “Nashville”, he has played the lead in two New York City Stage Productions, “Manahatta”, and “Sliver of a full Moon”. He has recorded 9 award-winning cd’s, completing his 10th. He is the founder of National Native American Children's Benefit Concert Series. He has written a book on leadership entitled “Spray your Swamp Cooler” He and his wonderful wife and 3 kidlets live outside of Lewiston New York.

She lived under the fear of God that villainized Him as a mean God. Because of the shame and the guilt of her past life, there was a time when she isolated herself and allowed the enemy to torment her.

When Patti's life fell apart and she had literally lost everything, it was as if Jesus had entered her life for the very first time. Through the pain of loss, Jesus transformed her in places she never knew needed change.

If she was ever to be asked who she most identified with as a woman of God, she would say Ruth, although she has also been forced to step up and handle tough situations like Debra. Or has identified with the woman who made it her life's mission to simply touch the hem of Jesus' garment so desperate for healing, or even the woman at the well. She has seen and experienced many miracles in her life; miracles in her family and miracles of being brought out of tough situations.

She is the proud mother of Matt, Britt, Kobe and Alex, and is grandma to Blakely Grace. As a family they enjoy planting gardens, growing flowers, BBQing, and sports. One of the miracles of her life is completing four half marathons. Together with her sisters, she runs in road races all over the province.

Through it all, Jesus deserves all of the honor and the glory.
